Route 66 Cellars is located in Needles, California, an original Route 66 destination rich with history. Our winery is in one of the oldest buildings still standing in town. Among other things, it was a Route 66 Motor Lodge, back when the Mother Road really was the only way west by car.

The desert heat of Needles, California is not the best place to grow grapes. It is, however, a great place to live, play, visit and make great wines! Since we cannot grow grapes here, this allows our winemaker to source out the best small lots of grapes that are available from the finest vineyards.
